Just prior to World War II the United States Army Air Forces established an airfield south of the central California town of Stockton. The spacious San Joaquin Valley of California provided a perfect place for flyers to train and Stockton Field became one of many such training bases. This website is dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of Stockton Field, California.
